After teasers and a first look, BMW has finally officially debuted the 2019 Z4 M40i Roadster First Edition at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.
The First Edition Z4 M40i sports a “Frozen Orange Metallic” paint job with BMW Individual high Gloss Shadow Line, a silver-tinged “Anthracite” fabric top (that can stow in ten seconds), adaptive LED headlights, black mirror caps and two-tone, double-spoke 19-inch wheels. The interior sees contrast-stitch black leather power seats, BMW Live Cockpit Profession screens and Harmon Kardon surround sound audio system.
A twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six-engine packs an estimated sub-four-second run from standstill to 60 miles per hour, assisted by adaptive, M-tuned sports suspension, M Sport rear differential and M Sport braking package. Final numbers will be released on September 18.
Bugatti has revealed a brand new hypercar to the public at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Called the Divo, it is based on the Chiron chassis but revamped with entirely new carbon fiber bodywork. Because it has a more rigid chassis in comparison to the Chiron as well as an increase in downforce of 198 pounds, its top speed is limited to 236 MPH.
It contains the same W16 power plant as the Chiron but weighs 77 pounds less – meaning the Divo laps the Nardo test track eight seconds faster. The car comes in at a whopping $5.8 million USD, more than double the base price of the Chiron which costs $2.7 million USD. If you want to or have the means to cop, you might be out of luck as only 40 Divos will be made and orders have already been placed on all of them.
