After delivering the Tartan pack earlier this year, which saw the Air Max Plus, Air Max 1 and Air Max 97 get refreshed with the plaid pattern, Nike takes a slightly different approach with the striped design. Now, we witness the Air Max 97 getting revamped in a gingham scheme. The checkered arrangement, oft-associated with J. Crew button downs, takes on an elevated form in an eye-catching black and tan motif. The colorway resonates throughout the upper as a black Swoosh sits against a tan backdrop, along with the overlaying panels and branded pull tab — and even down to the outersole which reflects the lined pattern, staying true to the overall theme.

While there’s no official drop date yet, we expect this version of the AM97 to hit retailers in the coming months.

Following a purple and pink colorway, Nike‘s Air Max 270 Bowfin appears in another bold scheme with “University Red/Light Citron.”

This version of the trail-inspired model features a black, red and yellow upper with a mix of mesh, nylon and leather materials. Details include toggle-fasten rope laces, patterned ribbon accents, Nike branding tabs and embroidered mini Swooshes. A black midsole with a visible Air Max 270 heel bag in yellow completes the bold colorway.

The Nike Air Max 270 Bowfin “University Red/Light Citron” colorway will release on October 11 for a price of $160 USD at Nike’s web store and select retailers.

So far, Nike‘s city marathon series has offered the Zoom Fly SP “Chicago,” Epic React Flyknit “Paris” and Zoom Fly SP “London” — now joining the Swoosh’s running family is the Berlin Marathon 2018 edition Zoom Pegasus Turbo model.

The Zoom Pegasus Turbo “Berlin” features a grey mesh upper with a mint green stripe down the center, colors inspired by the tarmac on the route and the Quadriga statue atop the Brandenburg Gate. The upper is reinforced with Flywire fiber for a secure fit while “BLN” printed at the heel signifies the special city theme. The midsole comes in a light blue-grey hue and fuses Nike Zoom X and Nike React Foam technology for ultimate impact absorption.

The Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo “Berlin” is available now at European stockists such as Keller Sports for €180 EUR including tax (about $208 USD). A stateside release is slated for later this season via Nike’s web store.

This past spring, Solebox included a new take on the Quesence in its premium adidas Consortium pack. Now, adidas Originals has released another retro-minded Quesence.

This time around, the unisex adidas Originals Quesence has been reworked in an striking, bold red and black colorway. Notably, this new Quesence blends strong red and black tones with suede and mesh materials, making for an eye-catching, high-quality pair of sneakers that’s as comfortable as it is stylish. While the original Quesence of the ’80s was only available in women’s sizes, this modern unisex version certainly has a lot of potential.

Back in August, we were treated to a “first look” at the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Static.” Now, a month after receiving an on-foot look at the aforementioned pair of sneakers, a more in-depth, closer visual examination of the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Static” has surfaced.

The adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Static” features a tonal white upper, transparent sidestripe, Primeknit material for its construction, a translucent white rubber midsole and outsole and a complete Boost cushioning system.
