With fall just around the corner, we’re on the lookout for the perfect pair of boots to get us through the cooler months ahead. Thankfully, Gucci just dropped a pair of monogram ankle boots that fits the bill.

Coming in a beige and brown wool fabric, the boots are decked out with the luxury house’s classic “GG” logo-print. The silhouette is dubbed the “Trip” and is designed combat boot-style with a feminine touch. Made for traction and grip, the lug soles sport a hiking boot platform as well as a thick, three-inch heel. If you look closely at the sole, you’ll see a snakeskin pattern and the Gucci logo embossed into the rubber. The boot features a lace-up front with gold metal hardware eyelets and black laces. To finish everything off, a weave corded grosgrain strip of fabric is fastened with a gold buckle around the ankle.

Off the heels of its heavy-duty trekking boots released a few days ago, Acne Studios has returned with some thick Fall/Winter 2019 jackets for the cold seasons ahead.

Featured are the beige Oversized Orsino Teddy Jacket and the black Shearling Ian Jacket. The former piece is doused in a soft, creamy ecru palette, insulated with a fine wool blend and polar fleece. Constructed with a substantial funnel neck collar, the piece conceals the central two-way zipper, finished with press-stud plackets at the top and bottom. “Acne Studios” branding is sewn at the chest, while tan stripes cover an exposed section near the forearm. Other details like welt pockets and beige-colored lining top off the garment.

The black Shearling Ian Jacket is made with grained lambskin leather that’s been buffed to hold a quiet sheen. Offsetting the tough leather exterior, delicate black wool is seen at the spread collar and along the edges of the piece. Silver-toned hardware appears in the form of central zippers and a small pin buckle strap near the collar, while intricate top-stitching is prominently etched over the back. As a finishing note, a set of eyelet vents have been added to the armscyes for extra breathability.

Following the announcements of collaborations with ROKIT and Babylon, GUESS Jeans U.S.A. is now coming together with PLEASURES for a capsule collection to be sold exclusively at its LOT 5 event in DTLA. The L.A.-based skate brand is lending a race-inspired aesthetic to GUESS Sport, the label’s new collection of ’90s-inspired pieces.

The series features eight pieces inspired by racing. “For our second collaboration with GUESS, we wanted to take cues from the ’90s import racing era,” says Alex James and Vlad Elkin of PLEASURES. “Combining automotive design and fashion, this collection embodies classic styles mixed with PLEASURES outside-of-the-box approach.” Their vision comes through in details like custom patches on a classic mock neck top, graphic co-branding on long and short sleeve T-shirts and inside out terry cloth used for a crew neck. Accessories including a trucker hat and tote complete the assortment.
