NEW GIFTS FOR XMAS:

Medicom Toy and UNDERCOVER have teamed up for a concise lineup of goods for Fall/Winter 2020. Featured are two BE@RBRICKs, a gold skull lamp with P.A.M. and GILAPPLE speakers.

Coming in blue and white, the first BE@RBRICK resembles that of a ceramic figure. UNDERCOVER’s signature UFO print appears over the legs, complemented by floral motifs across the upper body. Finishing off the piece, “UNDERCOVER” branding has been stamped across the BE@RBRICK’s face. Set in white, the same logo placement is seen on the other BE@RBRICK, popping out from its glossy green body — UNDERCOVER’s middle-finger motif decorates the piece. Seen back in September, UNDERCOVER and P.A.M.’s death-themed lamp has returned, but instead of black and gray, the piece features a gold colorway with red eyes. Rounding up the lineup is the GILAPPLE speaker. It comes with a bright glossy red finish that frames the black speaker driver at the center, in place of the clock or light that’s often built into the silhouette.

Medicom Toy and UNDERCOVER’s FW20 goods are currently available for raffle on Medicom Toy’s website, ranging from ¥17,600 – ¥74,800 JPY (approximately $168 – $715 USD).Following a capsule collection celebrating Whitney Houston, Palace has now announced its latest collaborator – Moschino. The unexpected team-up sees an expansive range of garments and accessories highlighting designer Jeremy Scott‘s vibrant and bold aesthetic.

“Moschino is one of our favorite brands of all time: chic, sexy, innovative and properly funny. Working with them has been a full-blown dream scenario for us and we are still buzzing on it,” Palace shared in a statement, while Scott added: “I was happy to collaborate with my long-time pals at Palace to create this collection full of peace, love and hugs.”

The resulting collection features a wide range of goods, from staple T-shirts to a co-branded helmet. Kicking off the lineup is a series of outerwear pieces, including puffer jackets adorned with sky patterns. A touch of Trompe-l’œil is added to a shearling jacket, with hand motifs and “hug me” text placed on the back. More ready-to-wear items arrive in the form of knit sweaters, long-sleeved tees and soccer jerseys, all sporting both brands’ logos and whimsical graphics celebrating the collaboration. Highlighting the collection is a set of denim jackets and jeans emblazoned with the brands’ names throughout. Elsewhere, Moschino’s signature style is spotted on a milk carton-shaped bag, as well as a helmet. The theme is followed throughout bucket hats, beanies skate decks and more.

According to reports, the duo is working on a sequel to the Jordan Brand team-up that was released earlier this year. The rumors note that the footwear model in focus is the beloved lifestyle classic, Nike Air Max 95. Based on accompanying mockups, it is believed that the Dior x Air Max 95 collaboration will feature “Orange” and “Volt” colorway options with the luxury fashion house’s signature oblique pattern to be involved in some way. Finally, the early news is hinting at a release date in or around June 2021.Louis Vuitton‘s timepieces often skew minimalist but are occasionally enlivened by bold hues in line with the striking hues seen in collections overseen by men’s artistic director Virgil Abloh. The latest Tambour watch is indicative of this mindset, as the Tambour Damier Graphite Race draws direct influence from Abloh’s splashy apparel designs.

Sporty touches come through on the fluorescent-accented black strap, which can be swapped for a bold tonal green version, contrasting a sense of athleticism against the graphite-hued PVD-coated steel case and smoked grey sapphire glass caseback. Graphite Damier patterns grace the dial alongside more hits of bright green, a nod to Abloh’s head-turning runway presentations. “V” — for “Vuitton” — also appears on the face, further juxtaposing statement styling against the timepiece’s traditional mechanism.

The new Tambour Damier Graphite Race watches are available as a 41.5 mm diameter automatic and 46 mm diameter chronograph on Louis Vuitton’s website for prices beginning at $5,750 USD.
