Continuing to build out the offerings for Fear of God ESSENTIALS, Jerry Lorenzo has now unveiled a new “Weathered Black” colorway for the sub-label’s signature staples. The distinct new tone is applied to the classic polos, jersey tees, pull-over fleeces, zip-up tracksuits to accent the lauded signature relaxed, minimal silhouettes.
Additionally, the celebrated designer also introduced the ESSENTIALS Tennis Shoes as the latest in the growing footwear line. Coming in classic white, the shoe is constructed of flat calf leather with a classic lace-up look. Despite the familiar shape, the model is modernized through the Fear of God outlook marked by the brand’s signature rubber sole in a moonstruck wash. The ESSENTIALS Tennis Shoes is just another example of Lorenzo’s approach to creating easy and timeless American staples for yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Priced between $40 and $300 USD, the “Weathered Black” colorway options, ESSENTIALS Tennis Shoes and Fall 2020 Loungewear will be available exclusively on the Fear of God website November 18.
Wellington boots are one of this season’s biggest trends with the likes of Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga dominating the market, but now Gucci is having its say with its latest offering: the Horsebit ankle boot.
These rubber wellies are cut at the ankle and feature plenty of luxurious elements. For example, the Horsebit logo on the vamp is finished in a gold-toned and silver-toned metal mix, while the interior of the boot is fully lined in shearling. Branded leather tabs appear inside too, while more branding can be found embossed into the lateral rear-quarter midsole.
The sole unit itself is somewhat of a one-piece component that extends from the boot’s upper, working its way down to a contrasting blue-gray outsole that’s finished with a small amount of tread. Lastly, as they are made from rubber, Gucci’s wellington is completely water-resistant on the exterior.
