Louis Vuitton (PARIS:MC.PA +2.27%) has unveiled its new LV Driver that merges the classic silhouette with contemporary details.
Coming in two versions, the updated silhouette was designed by Virgil Abloh for the Pre-Fall/Winter 2022 collection. The first model consists of LV’s signature monogram grained calfskin that comes in classic brown with a bright purple sole and matching lace tips, black with an orange sole and matching lace tips and white with a gray sole and matching lace tips. Additional calfskin offerings appear in monochromatic shades of green and orange.
The second offering features a suede monogram in shades of navy blue and mocha. Check out the gallery above for a look at the driving mocassins.
Retailing for $940 USD, the LV Driver is available now on Louis Vuitton’s website.Clarks Originals and MAGIC STICK have followed up last year’s two-piece footwear collaboration by unveiling a unique take on the outdoors-inspired Wallabee Boot 2.0 GTX.
The Tokyo-based outfit has taken the look and practicality of traditional mountain footwear and combined it with the durability and protection GORE-TEX offers, resulting in an all-black iteration of a well-worn silhouette.
Equipped with reflector shoe laces and cell tips that react to black light, each shoe arrives with a laser-engraved heel-counter, a metal dock tag plate replacing Clarks’ epochal triangular fob, while “SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN” can be read on the shoe’s sleek upper.
The MAGIC STICK x Clarks Originals Wallabee Boot 2.0 GTX is available to buy now from the former’s online webstore, retailing at ¥37,400 (approx. $290 USD).Nike (NYSE:NKE -0.86%) is back with another colorway of its BE-DO-WIN hybrid sneaker. The new “Multi-Color” silhouette is just like the name, filled with a plethora of radiant hues.
Dipped in shades of camel, red, green, purple, light blue and powder pink, the shoe is comprised of suede and mesh fabrics. The bulk of the shoe features suede paneling, while the camel-colored tongue is done up in mesh. Also, the shoe subtle uses recycled materials with its woven hemp shoelaces, cork insoles and rigid Octowaffle outsole. Finishing off the eclectically hybrid shoe is a rainbow-colored retro BE-DO-WIN logo on the heels.
