The French division of German automotive giant BMW recently gave Krugger Motorcycles – owned by designer Fred Bertrand – free reign over a BMW K1600 motorcycle. Given only two stipulations; that Bertrand keep the electronic components and 161hp engine as is, design-wise the script has been entirely flipped on this unrecognizable piece of machinery, which is a far cry from any stock BMW. Externalizing his vision through hand-built aluminum and steel bodywork, Fred spent over 3,000 hours in reworking what now can only be described as a beast. The end result leaves us wondering what BMW is thinking about this Frankenbike. Check out further imagery here.
