Aston Martin Works 60th Anniversary Limited Edition Vanquish

As Aston Martin Works prepares to celebrate its diamond jubilee in 2015, the iconic British automotive manufacturer is due to showcase six bespoke cars to commemorate the 60-year milestone. While they’ve yet to unveil the likes of their 1955-65 DB 2/4 MK II Saloon, 1965-75 DB5, 1975-85 V8 Coupe, 1985-95 V8 Vantage X-Pack, or 1995-2005 V8 Vantage, Aston martin has taken the wraps off the very first of the special vehicles — a limited edition Vanquish that channels a decade of design cues from 2005 to present. Styled after the current Vanquish Super GT and available in both Coupe and convertible Volante form, the unique Vanquish comes equipped with a 6.0 liter V12 capable of acceleration from 0 to 60mph in just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph. The main draw here, however, is the aesthetic quality of the vehicle. Created in conjunction with its Q by Aston Martin personalization service, the vehicle sports a stark white exterior in conjunction with distinctive yellow anniversary accents while the interior comes dressed in black leather with a carbon fiber weave and contrasting yellow stitching. An added touch comes in the form of bespoke rotaries — all of which have been culled from the engines of past models and include laser-etched anniversary branding.
