Ahead of tomorrow’s release, NikeLab has unveiled the final colorway to its fragment design x Nike Hyperchase model. Dubbed “Dark Obsidian,” the basketball-inspired sneaker is composed of a breathable mesh upper, with Flywire cables, asymmetrical lacing system, and a wide-bellied Swoosh adding to its compelling semblance. “Dark Obsidian“ along with “Dark Loden” and ““L’ami Louis” will be released via NikeLab locations as well as online at Nike.com from February 12.
A Look at the Damien Hirst x Levi's 501 From 2008
Highsnobiety recently visited the Levi’s headquarters in San Francisco and took a look around its archive of legendary and iconic denim pieces. Amongst the awe-inspiring collection were a pair of jeans customized by British artist Damien Hirst in his trademark Spin technique. Whilst the final collection – created in collaboration with the American institution, differed slightly from this original vibrant design – this find provides a unique insight into a moment in the artist’s career when he was refining something that would later become synonymous with his output, and immortalizes it in denim.
Nike Unveils an Exclusive Nike.com Colorway of the Flyknit Lunar 3
The third generation of Nike’s now much-coveted running shoe, the brand new Nike Flyknit Lunar 3 represents a major upgrade over previous releases. Featuring a reformulation of its predessors’ trademark sole as well as a tighter knit structure for heel support, the silhouette, according to Senior Design Director of Running Footwear, Rob Williams, is the result of listening to what athletes loved most about the shoe while evolving the design. Now the flagship runner is set to appear in a special Nike.com-only colorway following its initial February 12 launch. Donning a blueish-grey Flyknit upper, the release is highlighted by bold orange accents on the likes of the branding, Dynamic Flywire and speckled Lunarlon sole.
Look for the web-only release to be available Sunday, February 15 at Nike.com before 12 more colorways drop for men and women beginning March 5.
