Designer Mark McNairy joins Fair Trade Certified™ footwear label Oliberté to produce a limited edition collection. Locally sourcing its leather from sustainable tanneries around its factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Oliberté combines its dedication to quality materials and handcrafted production with McNairy’s renowned contemporary taste. Featuring a high-top build, the collaborative effort highlights a velvety suede cowhide upper as subtle stitched overlaying panels support the interweaving laces. A contrasting beige midsole provides an eye-catching aesthetic balance as a contoured outsole adds traction for outdoor wear. Anticipate the Mark McNairy x Oliberté footwear collection to release this fall at select Oliberté retailers and at the brand’s online store.

Joining Nike Sportswear‘s SFB Mountain as a nod to founder Bill Bowerman‘s military service is the latest addition to the SFB line-up: the SFB Field 15cm Boot. Available in a Cargo Khaki/Gum Light Brown-Military Brown colorway, the boot — essentially the latest version of the original SFB 6″ — takes cues from Bowerman’s time in the 10th Mountain Division during World War II and couples a waxed canvas upper with premium leather overlays, a Phylon midsole, rugged rubber outsole, and lightweight Dynamic Support stability.

Saint Laurent has outdone itself with this exuberant rendition of its Court Classic high top sneaker. Sure to turn heads, the shoes are constructed from premium leather, further embellished by black calf hair. Studded panels and a white strap provide additional flair to the high fashion model. Saint Laurent’s gold printed logo appears on the tongue, and an off-white rubber midsole completes the look. The sneakers are now available for purchase from SSENSE for the retail price of $1,195 USD.

Along with the Upcoming Response TR Boost and the Spring Boost QR, luxurious sportswear mainstay Y-3 will be releasing the Hayworth Guard. The futuristic high-cut basketball shoes feature a permeable sock-like mesh upper, combined with smooth leather on its paneling, tongue, midsole and outsole. The jet black model is available for pre-order from Y-3′s store now until February 5th.
