ASICS Drops an Ostrich Leather Two-Pack
Faux ostrich leather has been used on countless sneakers over the years to give them a hint of luxury, but ASICS is taking things a step further with its brand new two-pack. Featuring both the GEL-Lyte III and GEL-Lyte V, the drop boasts clean white and black colorways to let the construction shine, but one-ups things a bit by finishing each of the material’s raised pock marks with a dash of metallic gold. The golden accents extend to the branding, too, while each pair comes finished with a white GEL-cushioned midsole and gum rubber applications to the outsole.
Both pairs can be found now at Tokyo’s atmos.

New Balance Takes the Wraps off the Limited 585AIL "Made in USA" Silhouette
New Balance recently reissued the iconic 585 silhouette in a pared-down color scheme. The classic mid-top model is one of the runners under the Boston-bred label’s “Made in USA” line and is now presented with retro-inspired design cues. This latest iteration sees orange, aqua and burgundy accents set against a dominating grey sole. As far as construction details go, the shoe is equipped with a suede/mesh upper alongside the brand’s signature ROLLBAR midsole technology for unparalleled comfort.

Official Images of the Nike LeBron 14 "Black Ice" Surface
After official images surfaced of the Nike LeBron 14 and breaking news that the Nike Air Zoom Generation would be making its long awaited return, another colorway of LeBron James’s signature shoe has been revealed. This edition follows its official Christmas on-court debut and the all black edition James wore on Martin Luther King Jr. Day against the Golden State Warriors.
The Nike LeBron 14 “Black Ice” rests atop of a translucent outsole and white midsole with black speckling. As you move toward its upper you’ll find a mid-foot strap with Swoosh branding to provide a lockdown fit for its sock-like entry. Pull tabs can be found on its tongue and heel for easier access while Dynamic Flywire makes its way onto the silhouette’s lacing system.
The Nike LeBron 14 “Black Ice” is expected to launch on January 28 for a retail price of $175 USD at select Nike retailers.


The Shoe Surgeon Decks out the Infrared Air Jordan 6 in Python
Dominic Chambrone has definitely lived up to his nickname of The Shoe Surgeon with custom “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1′s, Special Field Air Jordan 1′s and YEEZY BOOST 750′s. While in Dubai for Sole DXB, TQ Kicks from Kuwait was lucky enough to sit down with the doctor for a private consultation which resulted in a bespoke 1/1 Air Jordan 6. The iconic sneaker which helped Mike win his first championship dons black sueded python throughout the upper with infrared python on the sole and infrared accents across the heel tab and lace lock.
