Back in January, Yohji Yamamoto and adidas‘ collaborative Y-3 take on the PureBOOST surfaced in a clean “Triple White” look before hitting the runway in “Triple Black” as a part of Y-3′s Holiday 2017 teaser. Now, the kicks have finally arrived in a brand new black/blue/white colorway. Marked by mesh construction, the breathable kicks don a white BOOST midsole and predominately black upper while blue accents grace the likes of the welded TPU overlays and rubber outsole.
Finished with a molded external heel counter and subtle co-branding, the collaborative kicks are available now from Las Vegas-based Feature for $320 USD while supplies last.
Former founder of Enjoi and now permanent member of adidas Skateboarding, Marc Johnson, has just released his first shoe with the German sportswear brand. Taking the adidas Matchcourt as the starting point, Johnson has redesigned it with a soft, blue leather body – the signature color of the University of North Carolina – and tiny gold initials that line the accompany the three stripes.
adidas Skateboarding has had a strong start to the year. If you missed it, check out its collaboration with photographer Ari Marcopolous that dropped back in February.
After surfacing late last year, adidas‘s BOOST-cushioned take on the Stan Smith is getting yet another upgrade — this time in the form of Primeknit construction. Appearing exactly as you’d imagine, the silhouette is the perfect mashup of the Stan Smith Primeknit and Stan Smith BOOST and couples the upper of the former with the sole unit of the latter. Best of all, the kicks have been crafted in OG green and navy colorways.
Both pairs are available now from Three Stripes spots like Berlin’s Overkill.
The coveted adidas UltraBOOST silhouette is undergoing yet another drastic change. First came the UltraBOOST Uncaged, and now it looks like the Three Stripes are putting aside the laces as well. Thanks to @icefuckingfire, we have a first look at the adidas UltraBOOST Laceless.
The new model features a similar design to the UltraBOOST Uncaged keeping the same heel counter, full-length BOOST midsole and Continental rubber outsole. What makes it special is the slip-on feature and no lace look. No release date or pricing information has been released yet, but keep it locked to HYPEBEAST for further information. Make sure to check out the new adidas Originals “Earth Tone” NMD R1.
