The past few days have seen several leaked photos of Nike‘s upcoming Special Field Air Force 1 Mid. While SF-AF1 fans might be excited about the new mid-top design itself, they’ll be pleased to hear that the model will be debuting in seven new colorways.
The new colorways include: “Black/Gum,” “Dark Grey/Light Bone,” “Ivory/Dark Red,” “Ivory/Olive,” “Mushroom/Light Bone,” a high-octane “Team Orange,” and a winterised White colorway made in collaboration with outdoor wool label IBEX.
The mid iteration retains most of the original high-top version‘s blueprints, keeping the same ballistic nylon and leather upper material construction, industrial-styled branding on the heel, and buckled cross-straps at the ankle. New additions to the design include a double-zipper opening at the rear for easy entry, as well as “Nike Air” Swoosh branding within the upper canvas weave on the side, replacing the original stitched-on Swoosh branding.
Nike has yet to announce the official release date and price point of the Special Field Air Force 1 Mid, so stay tuned for the latest updates and share your thoughts on the new model below.
