adidas Hoops is moving on to the next chapter in James Harden’s signature sneaker line with the adidas Harden Vol.2. The elusive lefty has already established himself as an unguardable scorer in addition to being an efficient passer. adidas matches the growth of his game with the incorporation of FORGEFIBER, a process which uses TPU-coated yarn to provide the upper’s construction with strength in motion while removing unnecessary materials. Full-length BOOST cushioning is also added to support “The Beard’s” unpredictable movements such as his step-backs, Euro steps and more. Lastly, its upper provides a customizable lacing system thanks to a numerous amount of eyelets for a lockdown to your own liking.
The adidas Harden Vol. 2 will debut in a trio of color choices dubbed “California Dreamin’,” “Ignite” and “Vision.” The first iteration is a nod to Harden’s love for the city of LA. It welcomes a color palette similar to the sunrise in the aforementioned city while a palm tree camo pattern is added to its lacing system. Its BOOST cushioning is dipped in dark grey while pastel green and chalk coral serve as complementary colors.
The trio’s “Ignite” edition reflects “The Beard’s” unique ability to contribute to the Houston Rockets’ high powered offense at will, whether it be scoring on his own or dishing an assist. This colorway adds shades of burgundy to its upper and lacing cage while the BOOST returns in its signature white coloring.
The influence of Audubon Middle School on James Harden’s game is acknowledged in the “Vision” edition. The school’s traditional colors are remixed thanks to various shades of green being placed on the upper and lacing cage. Its full-length BOOST midsole is treated in white.
The adidas Harden Vol. 2 will retail for $140 USD. Its “California Dreamin” edition will launch at Foot Locker’s Hollywood and Highland locations on February 15 with a global drop to follow on February 16. The silhouette’s “Ignite” iteration will release globally on February 16. The “Vision” colorway will be available exclusively at adidas’s 747 Warehouse St. in Los Angeles on February 16.
Late last month, Nike delivered a “Total Orange” version of the Air VaporMax Plus. Now, the Swoosh gives the popular silhouette a mixed grey makeover.
Billed as the “Wolf Grey/Dark Grey” model, Nike’s latest Air VaporMax Plus takes a lighter-toned grey upper and places it on top of a darker bottom. A bolder, stronger grey color can also be seen in streaks across the exterior sides of the shoe, adding to its striking look. Rounding out the presentation: “Nike VaporMax Plus” branding on the tongue and a “Swoosh” motif on the back.

Building on its Black Panther releases, Marvel recently teamed up with Jimmy Jazz and New Balance on two special edition footwear models.
Inspired by the Black Panther’s Vibranium suit, the New Balance 574 Sport and 990v4 found in the capsule collection replicates the dynamic lines and tones found on the hero’s battle garb. Utilizing rugged leather and knit materials, the mixed construction found on the shoes is accented by silver hits, reflective 3M laces and a special Marvel lace keeper. Inside the shoes, Black Panther branding and tribal motifs express the origins of the Wakandan hero.
Set to release February 9, the Black Panther New Balance 574 Sport and 990v4 will release online and at select Jimmy Jazz locations, with a wider newbalance.com release coming February 16.
LeBron James‘ latest signature sneaker has already seen an array of different makes and colorways, from the vibrant “HWC” iteration to a floral-embroidered team up with KITH, the LeBron 15 will now see a “Metallic Pink” and Gold makeover for next week’s All-Star Weekend. Adorn in “Rust Pink” Battleknit fabrication alongside “Metallic Gold” and black contrasts, this pair is a tribute to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, using the same color as the stars cemented about. The latest model is then dressed up with a speckled midsole detailing.
James is slated to wear these beauties during the game in Los Angeles. Fans of the Nike LeBron 15 “All-Star” will be able to pick them up when they arrive on February 15 at Nike.com and SNKRS for $185 USD.
Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight’s perennial Nike Air Span II silhouette continues to receive updated colorways for 2018. Hot on the heels of the “Volt”-accented iteration are two new makeups consisting of “Laser Orange” and “Hyper Royal” tones.
The former rendition sees the retro runner outfitted with the bright Sunny D orange hue on the forefoot overlays and heel sections alongside neon pink Swooshes and outsoles. On the other hand, the latter is wrapped with tonal black uppers, royal blue forefoot and heel cap portions, as well as pink insignias and outsoles.
Both colorways receive “AIR SPAN II” branding embellished on the back near the heel. As far as the textiles are concerned, the models are equipped with textile uppers, synthetic leather overlays, rubber outsoles, and air sole units.

The highly anticipated Nike PG2 “All-Star” gets a release date following last month’s teaser of a “Home Craze” colorway. The parred down basketball sneaker gets a tonal grey and orange upper sitting on a translucent blue outsole while its heel tab is printed with five purple PG logos, noting Paul George’s five All-Star Game appearances.
