Building up to an impending release next month, Jordan Brand recently shared official imagery for the upcoming wide release Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Homage to Home.”
The latest iteration of the Air Jordan 1 plays with the recent trend of amalgam sneakers by referencing two widely popular color schemes found on the classic sneaker. Bringing together the “Banned” and “Chicago” colorways, the wide release “Homage to Home” is an homage to the history of the sneaker that started it all and brings a radical new look for a new generation of fans. Despite sharing the same base look and colorway name, the wide release Air Jordan 1 “Homage to Home” does not feature the “FROM” and “FOR” heel detailing featured on the super exclusive Chicago only April 21 first issue.
Priced at $190 USD, the Air Jordan 1 “Homage to Home” is set to release at select Jordan Brand retailers May 19.
