Gucci follows through on more eclectic accessory options, with the reveal of yet another themed timepiece. Earlier exploring its signature Black G-Timeless GucciGhost Watch, the luxury label revisits the all-familiar tiger theme with this new release.
The high-end fashion house’s Black Tiger Diver Watch is fashioned from PVD-coated stainless steel with a gunmetal-tone hitting the face and base structure, while black makes its way onto the bands, dial and face. Characterized by the multicolored tiger graphic sitting front and center, other notable features include Ronda quartz movement, adjustable rubber straps, in addition to boasting water-resistant capabilities up to 50 meters. Priced at ¥139,000 JPY (approximately $1,300 USD), the Gucci Black Tiger Diver Watch is available now at SSENSE.
Following up on the Monogram Brass Lighter Cases we looked at yesterday, Vetements brings to the table yet another stylishly-sound, yet functionally-adept accessory item. The luxury label’s Silver USB Necklace, which as the name suggests, doubles as a decorative neckpiece and a file storage device that can easily be worn with any number of outfits.
Made in Italy using silver-toned brass, the necklace features logo-engraved clasp closures, in addition to its statement 8 GB USB hardware. Priced at ¥131,500 JPY (approximately $1,228 USD), the Vetements Silver USB Necklace is available now at SSENSE.
Swiss watchmaker Breitling has revealed a series of new models for its Superocean Heritage II line, including three 44mm caliber B01 watches, two 44mm Tudor designed caliber B20 powered three-hand models and one new 42mm B20 equipped three-hand watch in steel.
As with previous additions to the line, all of these designs are influenced by an original dive watch from 1957. The original watch is referenced in the unusual shape of the hands — one is triangular, the other is shaped like a lozenge — and the cone-shaped hour markers. The new watches come in monochrome colorways, as well as a blue and white model, a black, red, gold and blue watch and another with a black dial, red gold bezel and black insert. Prices for the expanded collection range from $4560 USD to $7990 USD.
After recently being announced as the official watch customizers for LVMH brands, Bamford Watch Department has teamed up with TAG Heuer on the stealthy TAG Heuer Bamford Monaco. Accounting for their first major joint effort of 2018, the tandem’s work can be found on a staple Monaco sizing in at 39mm. The bespoke model is encased in carbon which features an original caliber 11 from 1969. The watch’s face is then crafted with a vivid “Aquablue” and black dial and matching date display.
In his original Hodinkee Introducing story on the watch, James Stacey wrote, “I like that it does nothing to threaten the existence or legitimacy of the more classic Monaco while still managing to take the Monaco in a new direction that maintains its connection with motorsports.”
The TAG Heuer Bamford Monaco is now available for pre-order over at TAG Heuer’s site for $8,100 USD. Expected delivery date will be around the end of August
