UPDATE: After surfacing back in December, the Air Jordan 11 “Concord” now has an official holiday release date of December 8.
Following on from Jordan Brand’s reveal of the much-hyped
KAWS x Jordan 4 Black, it also
recently emerged that 2018’s
Air Jordan 11 release would see the classic “
Concord” colorway hit retailers again. Now, the holiday release appears to have been confirmed with a November drop date date pencilled in and a $220 USD retail price also reportedly confirmed.
The re-released sneaker is set to be similar to the original 1995 version, with a white mesh upper and black patent leather and “Dark Concord” accents. Unlike the original, however, the new version is set to feature a higher-cut patent leather build — similar to the additional touches added to last year’s “
Space Jam” re-release.
Just a few hours ago we were given
a first look at
Alexander Wang and
adidas Originals‘ forthcoming collaborative effort. Marking the pair’s third team up, Season 3’s 13-piece range includes a new wave of athletic gear inspired by manufacturing errors and unique flaws that are created during the process.
Standing out from the track jackets, crewnecks, tees, shorts, and poncho is the all-new AW Bball Soccer silhouette which remixes an iconic adidas Football shoe upper by placing it atop an adidas BOOST midsole. Crafted from premium suede in either a black or red colorway, the new model is also dressed with adidas’ Three Stripes branding on the sides, an upside-down “adidas” motif found on the tongue tab and an upside-down adidas Trefoil on the heel accompanied by three “factory-labeled” deubrés on the laces. A debossed “Alexander Wang” branding also appears on the lateral side of the shoe’s heel.
So far no pricing information has been released, but look for the AW Bball Soccer shoes to drop at adidas Originals and Alexander Wang flagship locations,
adidas.com,
alexanderwang.com, and select retailers worldwide Saturday, April 21.
Nike continues to rollout special releases as a part of its “Art of a Champion” collection. Today its
Converse division shares official images of its
Pro Leather in white and red. Dubbed “The Scoop,” this iteration honors
Julius Erving‘s inexplicable ability to adjust in mid-air. In Game 4 of the 1980 Finals, Dr. J managed to pull off one of the most unforgettable layups, scooping the rock under the backboard and up from the opposite side.
Retailing for $100 USD, the Converse Pro Leather “The Scoop” arrives on April 19 at select Converse retailers and
Nike SNKRS.
In celebration of its new Vancouver store, Off White™ will be restocking the first Virgil Abloh x Air Jordan 1. The model kicked off the release of ”THE TEN” back in September which ultimately led to surging resale prices and a ton of DIY projects. Equipped with extra laces, inverted Jordan box and Off White™ zip-tie, the restock of one of the most coveted collaboration sneakers in recent times is expected to be held through a “lucked based Instagram raffle.”
After taking a look at a pair of
YEEZY Season 6
Desert Rat Boots a few weeks back, it appears as though the “Graphite Suede” model has resurfaced as it now hits the market for purchase. Constructed mainly from leather and polyester, the signature boots get dressed in a deep shade of grey from top to bottom with alternating hits of mesh panels and suede overlays forming much of the upper. The thick foam-enhanced tongue and corresponding pull tab up top, with the chunky rubber sole unit sitting below round out the new design.
Priced at $2,835 HKD (approximately $360 USD), you can find this new
YEEZY Season 6 Desert Rat Boot at such retailers as
Antonioli.
