November 2 marks the Mexican celebration of Día de Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, and as such brands like Dr. Martens are releasing products inspired by the holiday. The legendary boot brand has dropped its iconic 1460 boot in smooth black leather with an all-over multi-colored line print that incorporates traditional sugar skulls and floral detailing throughout.
The boots feature the trademark 8-eye lacing system and the signature welt stitching, whilst normally in bold yellow, is reimagined in turquoise blue. This is matched on the heel pull which has turquoise lettering and the boots are completed with an air-cushioned sole.
Take a closer look at the graphic boots in the gallery above – you can shop them now at Dr. Marten’s web store for £149 GBP (approximately $193 USD). In related news, check out our roundup of the best Dr. Martens footwear for fall.
