Cartier has only crafted 10 diamond-encrusted black ceramic Juste un Clou, which will be available in designated countries and regions around the world. One of them will be sold in Hong Kong for $150,000 HKD (approximately $19,200 USD). Keep it locked here for more details when they surface.
Vespa scooters have become an iconic symbol of modern Italy. The heritage scooter brand has been refining its creations for over 70 years and in its lifetime has produced more than 18 million scooters. To amplify its most recent collaboration with streetwear aficionado and Round Two founder Sean Wotherspoon, Vespa will host a special launch event coinciding with the EICMA international fair.
Details of the collaboration are restricted, but it’s rumoured to involve a capsule collection and a limited edition Vespa Primavera scooter. True to Wotherspoons’ style, fans should expect a vividly colorful design, offering a bold reinterpretation of the classic scooter model.
The capsule collection will be officially unveiled by Vespa and Sean Wotherspoon himself at the launch event taking place at the Motoplex Milano City Lounge on November 5. Guests will be able to pick up signed T-shirts from the collection, retailing at €40 [EUR], and meet the designer himself. Find out more information on the event’s Facebook page.
Heritage American brands Schott NYC and Hamilton have come together for a limited-edition Khaki Pilot watch. Both have a history in supplying goods to the U.S. Army during World World II, with Hamilton providing high-quality watches and Schott NYC providing its leather flight jackets.
The duo brings their heritage together for the Khaki Pilot, with Schott NYC specially selecting the finest top grain, full aniline, lightweight steer hide leather for the watch strap. This leather comes in the Federal Standard military color “30099 Earth Brown,” which is the same hue used for its flight jackets in the World War and for the Army outerwear it provides today. Just like the brand’s jackets, the strap starts life stiff and sturdy but, once worn, will soften and adapt to the wearer’s wrist while gaining a natural patina.
Hamilton has implemented an H-30 automatic day-date movement with 80 hours of power reserve into the Khaki Pilot, which sports a 46mm case that houses a khaki green dial with contrasting light green Super-LumiNova hands and numerals. This feature is a nod to its aviation heritage which allowed pilots to read the time in the dark.
This story of two historic American imprints coming together is presented in a watch that’s limited to just 1,892 units — representing the year Hamilton was founded and the year Irving Schott, founder of Schott NYC, was born. The Schott NYC x Hamilton Khaki Pilot retails for approximately $1,165 USD.
