Saint Laurent is hosting a series of global exhibitions across six key cities, including London, Los Angeles, Paris, Tokyo and Seoul, alongside a digital activation in Shanghai.
Each exhibition will take place simultaneously, with the intention being to capture different aspects of the Saint Laurent personality. In partnership with Magnum artists, each exhibition centers around a photographer from each city, all chosen by Saint Laurent’s Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello. Titled “Self,” the series aims to represent and encourage self-expression in all forms.
The series includes Harry Gruyaert from Paris, London-based Olivia Arthur, Daesung Lee from Seoul, Takashi Homma from Tokyo, LA’s Alex Webb and China‘s photographic collective Birdhead. London’s exhibition will focus on Arthur’s work surrounding people and their cultural identities, with much of her previous work capturing the daily lives of women living in India and Saudi Arabia.
Saint Laurent’s London exhibition will take place at The Observation Point from June 9-12. While you’re here, check out Saint Laurent ambassador Rosé rocking the brand’s Icare tote bag.
