Billie Eilish is reportedly back with another iteration her most recent Nike (NYSE:NKE +0.64%) collaboration. Mock-up images of the Billie Eilish x Nike Air Force 1 High has surfaced in an all-green hue. The “Sequoia” colorway follows after the debut pair was released in “Mushroom.”
Like the “Mushroom” colorway, the makeup of the shoe is expected to be Earth-friendly. The Billie Eilish-designed kicks highlight the young artist’s oversized style and love for classic Nike sneakers. Different from the traditional Nike Air Force 1 High, five chunky straps are seen placed at the toe box and all the way to the top of the shoe, making it the most noticeable detail that separates this silhouette from the classic one. The shoe also takes inspiration from the Alpha Force Low and Air Trainer with its design. The Nike Grind midsole is seen in the same tonal green as the upper, showcasing that sustainability continues to be at the top of mind.

Off-White™ and Nike (NYSE:NKE +0.64%) have redefined the sneaker game over the past five years with countless projects as a collaborative duo. Carrying out the late Virgil Abloh’s vision, the two labels continue to bring bold ideas to classic Nike silhouettes. One project that has yet to release is the reworked Air Force 1 Mid. Initially surfacing late last year in “White/Clear-White” and “Black/Clear-Black”colorways, we now have an early look at a “Pine Green” version.
This colorway of the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 Mid takes a more traditional form, opting for a leather upper rather than the synthetic one included on previous iterations. Additionally, this pair carries a simpler color composition. “Pine Green” is featured on both the upper and track spike-inspired outsole while white is used on the Swooshes, midsole, secondary lacing system and iconic Off-White™ zip-tie tag. Additionally, white embroidered designs touch down on the lateral sides of each shoe. The right shoe’s design reads “OFF” while the left features a candlestick, a shape in the design vocabulary of Abloh, as found in projects such as canary—yellow.
While a release date has not been announced, expect this pair to hit shelves later this year via Nike and select retailers.
After being released in collaborative form with Jordan Brand hoops signee Rui Hachimura, the Air Jordan 8 is aiming to increase its output this season. The brand’s women’s category is welcoming the silhouette to release in new “Taxi” colorway, and it has just been revealed by way of official imagery.
Upper halves are mostly cooked up with a leather build that’s mostly dressed in a stark black. Textures deviate between various panels of the kicks such as the overlays which appear smoothened out, the quarters and collar windows that are done up with perforations and the collars that feature bumpy ridges. Bold hits of yellow are thrown against the Air Jordan-branded buckles, the midsole pieces and the lower heel molds. Felt-infused tongue patches also come fitted with the Taxi-inspired hues. Based off the color palette of these kicks, they evoke memories of the palette of the Air Jordan 12 “University Gold” which debuted in 2020.

While the Air Jordan 9 doesn’t receive the same amount of attention as classics such as the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4, Jordan Brand continues to include the model in its wide range of annual offerings. Debuting in 1993, the Air Jordan 9 has found itself in all sorts of colorways ever since. Now, it is equipped with a clean “Particle Grey” that carries plenty of versatility.
This time around, Jordan Brand has opted to emphasize the sneaker’s silhouette by presenting it in plain tones of black, grey and white. The upper combines shades of black and grey, including on the heel’s typical “23” branding which is embroidered in black atop the “Particle Grey.” A white sole pairs with black Jumpman logos to complete the primary colors involved. Hits of red add a pop of color to both the tongue and heel, rounding out the colorway.
Look for this pair to release June 20 via Nike and select retailers at a retail price of $200 USD.
New Balance has kept the 2002R in sneaker conversations all year with releases such as the “Protection Pack” and Joe Freshgoods designed “Conversations Amongst Us.” Now, the American sportswear brand looks back to its collaborative catalog to present the “Good Vibes Pack.” Drawing inspiration from the Kawasaki x New Balance 993 that originally released in 2012, the color scheme used here is sure to excite OG New Balance collectors.
The material composition of the upper includes high-quality suede, full grain leather and mesh. Similar to the referenced Kawasaki Ninja 993, a base layer of black is covered in green overlays with subtle off-white detailing. Within the iconic “N” logo, “N-ENERGY” is written in a matching green, calling out the N-ergy cushioning system used in the sole.
Release is set for June 4 overseas via atmos Tokyo. For interested buyers elsewhere in the world, keep an eye out for these to pop up via New Balance soon.
Wales Bonner and adidas Originals recently unveiled their Spring/Summer 2022 collaboration, marking the fourth time that the London-based label and the sportswear giant have collaborated. The capsule incorporates influences from ‘70s and ‘80s photography and music in Burkina Faso across apparel and footwear.
The footwear element of the collection features two silhouettes, with Wales Bonner returning to the popular Samba silhouette and introducing the Country sneaker. The Samba is constructed from luxe materials, including suede overlays and detailing in a crocodile skin-style material. The sneaker arrives in either a red and white colorway, or a white and green design. Both options feature specially-designed laces that mix the shoe’s color palette.
For the Country, Wales Bonner and adidas Originals have gone for two more understated designs. The first sees the shoe constructed entirely in black, complete with suede Three Stripe branding and toe box, as well as gold detailing and black and white laces. The second colorway includes a tonal brown design, which is offset by hits of navy blue on the laces.
