The Batman director Matt Reeves has shared a new teaser for the latest DC film. The latest teaser features a series of hints including Riddler’s fingerprints and trademark imprints.
In a tweet, Reeves posted a motion poster accompanied by the caption “Question everything.” The promo poster sees the silhouette of Batman form in a blood-red rainstorm. Other insignia appear around the character while a question mark is created with the outline of Batman’s chin and ears. DC Comics responds to Reeves tweet with one of their own showcasing a banking check statement seemingly covered in miscellaneous symbols and the phrases, “Lets play a game” and “Just me and you.”
The teasers coincide with the events revealed in the second trailer which shows Paul Dano’s Riddler as the main villain to go up against Robert Pattinson‘s Dark Knight character. The trailer showed the GCPD take Riddler away in the heavy armory and later speak face-to-face with Batman while in prison. Bruce Wayne is also seen trying to solve a series of mysterious clues surrounding the symbolic question mark. The trailer also alluded to greater developments between Batman and Catwoman. However, it is unclear how the three characters, Batman, Catwoman and Riddler’s storylines will intertwine.
The Batman is set to arrive in theaters on March 4, 2022.
