Beyonce, Jay Z Announce On The Run Summer Stadium Tour

The Carters have officially announced their rumored joint tour. Beyonce and Jay Z will head out on a 16-date stadium tour they’re calling On The Run, to kickoff in Miami on June 25th and wrap in San Francisco on August 5. The tour is sponsored by Chase.
Chase cardholders as well as Beyonce Fan Club members will be granted access to a ticket pre-sale tomorrow, April 29, at 10AM. General pre-sale will be available at 10AM on May 1. $1 from each ticket sale will be donated to the Shawn Carter Foundation, which provides scholarships to underserved students. The donations are in partnership with Beyonce’s #BeyGOOD initiative, which supports a number of charities.
The couple recently made surprise appearances during the first weekend of Coachella, with Beyonce popping in during her sister Solange’s set and Jay Z dropping by Nas’ midnight set in Indio.
Jay Z’s tour with Justin Timberlake in 2013 brought in an average of $5 million a night, according to Billboard Boxscore.

“Dream Cars” Exhibition @ High Museum of Art Atlanta

Atlanta’s High Museum of Art will soon be hosting the “Dream Cars: Innovative Design, Visionary Ideas” exhibition. Curated in partnership with Ken Gross, veteran automotive writer and historian, the exhibition will use the automobile as a lens to explore the ideas behind design and innovation. Featuring 17 marvellous concept cars that range from 1935 to contemporary times, the exhibition will include the elegant 1935 Bugatti Type 57S Aerolithe, 1941 Chrysler Thunderbolt and the jet-inspired 1955 Chrysler Ghia. In addition, models and drawings will be on display to illustrate the various stages of design behind these beautiful vehicles. The exhibition will open up to the public on May 21 and will run through to September 7 at the High Museum of Art Atlanta.

Rihanna Covers ‘Vogue Brazil”s 39th Anniversary Issue

In celebration of the magazine’s 39th anniversary, Vogue Brazil teamed up with Barbadian singer-songwriter Rihanna to shoot two covers for its new May issue. On the newsstand cover (white font) Rihanna poses in Brazil’s Ilha Grande, while subscribers (blue font) will receive a version boasting a closeup beauty shot. Mariano Vivanco captured the singer with styling by Yasmine Strerea. “It was the best shooting I’ve ever done,” Rihanna said. The new issue of Vogue hits newsstands on April 28 in Brazil.

This spring, Ronnie Fieg has teamed up with Clarks to introduce an all-new silhouette: the Kildare. Set to premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival is “Iverson,” a new documentary focusing on the life and times of Allen Iverson. While not the first documentary of the game-changing star, this latest one looks to capture an exhaustive look at his life, starting with his early upbringing in a poverty-ridden section of Hampton, Virginia, his career on the court, and his life off it. Narrated extensively by Iverson himself, this documentary aims to capture all the highs and lows of Iverson’s life and career.
