This holiday season, Grand Rapids-based Premier offers an alternative perspective of the Aurora Borealis — an aurora also known as the Northern Lights and one that lights up the skies of the Northern Hemisphere when solar winds collide with magnetospheric-charged particles on clear and starry nights — with the introduction of its latest collaborative Dunk alongside Nike SB. Beginning with a night sky-inspired black upper, the unique kicks see reflective “starlight” motifs at the heel and Swoosh — inspired by the reds and pinks of intense solar activity that appear at high altitudes — while a glowing green outsole serves as a nod to the wavelengths of the aurora that are visible at lower altitudes. Finally, custom “Wavelength” Premier branding can be found at both the tongue tag and sock liner.
The Premier x Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Northern Lights” will be available in limited quantities both in-store and online November 22.
