In fact a staggering 50.6 million unique users log on to their accounts each month. Interestingly enough, The Wall Street Journal reports that the majority of such users consist of individuals sifting through old photos, previously uploaded onto the site years ago for the week’s “Throwback Thursday.” Accompanied by the hashtag “TBT,” often the most nostalgic and embarrassing pictures from past times that are posted onto today’s Instagram/Twitter profiles originate from none other than Myspace.
