Newly available from Nike Sportswear alongside all-white and black versions of the unique hybrid — as well as the upcoming “Shine Through” iteration — is a “Villain Red” edition of the Free Hypervenom Mid. Donning a tonal upper of leather and synthetics, the silhouette takes cues from Nike’s Hypervenom boot and couples the design with a mid-top cut and low profile Free 3.0 sole unit. Finished with matching laces and a dash of reflective 3M on the heel, the “Villain Red” version of the Free Hypervenom Mid is now available via Nike.com for $115 USD.
adidas teams up with BAIT to reinvent one of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes — the EQT Running Support. This new iteration, named “The Big Apple,” introduces a unique combination of color blocking paying homage to New York City. All four sides of the shoe has its own distinct style, with a color scheme inspired by the Statue of Liberty, resulting in a frost mint/viridian green upper. Hints of apple red highlights the shoe while the contrasting black and white ties the design together. The material consists of a premium nubuck leather with alternating textures and a lightweight EVA midsole decorated with a subtle black and red splatter. The “SUPERIOR” lacelocks are inspired by BAIT’s motto of providing “Superior Quality Goods.” Each pair comes with three lace options in black, apple red and frost mint. The BAIT x adidas EQT Running Support “The Big Apple” launches January 31, coinciding with the opening of BAIT Seattle. Retailing for $160 USD, the shoe will be available in all four BAIT locations along with a limited quantity online via raffle. Registration for a chance to purchase online is open here now.
