Le Coq Sportif presents its premium “Made In France” range with the Arthur Ashe silhouette, a luxurious tennis sneaker manufactured in Romans-sur-Isère, a town known for its leather manufacturing. Paying homage to former world No.1 tennis player Arthur Ashe, the shoe is features a Tanneries Roux leather upper, with perforated side panels sitting atop of a contrasting gum sole. The hand-assembled shoe comes in a special wooden presentation box along with a wooden shoetree, a tin of leather cream and a leather buffing cloth. Priced at £165 GBP (approximately $251 USD), the limited edition Arthur Ashe sneakers will be available starting January 19 at Footpatrol, Hanon and Sneakersnstuff.
