Street Style: Naleye “Junior” in Levi’s Vintage
Cultural ambassador Naleye “Junior” features in our latest Street Style installment in a grip of clothing from Levi’s® Vintage Clothing. A free spirit and bon vivant, “Junior” models for a number of other brands when he’s not busy working on his own projects. Born and raised in the Netherlands, Naleye currently splits his time between LA and New York where he’s become a regular on both cities’ unique scenes.
Here we see the 24-year-old in the 1933 501 Jeans Rigid, 1940’s Crew Sweatshirt, 519 Bedford Pants, Cable Rollneck and 1970s Trucker Jacket, with photography by Jordan Lutes and grooming by Stephanie Nicole Smith. The resulting images show how neatly the iconic American brand’s Vintage gear fits into the contemporary style landscape – through sheer timelessness. The chunky knit of the 1940s Crew Sweatshirt adds texture to “Junior’s” first fit, which is finished off with a snapback and a pair of sneakers. The second outfit goes heavy on denim with different amounts of dye used to great effect. Sturdy boots and a wide-brimmed hat add a touch of flair to the workwear-inspired look.
