adidas Originals Superstar 80s Clean "Running White" / Mike Shinoda x Bamford Watch Department Daytona Watch / Nike Sportswear 2015 "Constellation" Collection
Apparently the Superstar 80s can indeed be even cleaner aesthetically, as evidenced by adidas Originals‘ new “Clean” edition of the silhouette. Seen here in white, the design retains the leather upper, gold foil text branding, and signature shell toe of the original while ditching the Three Stripes branding for a more streamlined look. Finished with a star-emblazoned footbed, the adidas Originals Superstar 80s Clean “Running White” can be found now at Afew while supplies last.
Bamford Watch Department (BWD) teamed up with Linkin Park‘s co-lead vocalist and producer, Mike Shinoda, for an exclusive watch collaboration, the M. SHINODA x BAMFORD Daytona watch. The collectible consists of a dark grey dial that features Shinoda’s own skull design and is finished off with a sleek matte black color on top of BWD’s signature military grade titanium coating. Reduced text simplifies the look of the dial. The M. SHINODA x BAMFORD watch will be sold exclusively by Bamford Watch Department and Global Partners. Price is available upon application request.
In honor of the upcoming 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend, Nike Sportswear has crafted the “Constellation” collection. Dropping alongside Nike Basketball‘s range of All-Star Game kicks, each silhouette incorporates five-point, four-point and single-point stars in its design — elements that, respectively, pay homage to New York City’s five boroughs, the four quarters of play in a basketball game, and the “single, legend-making exhibition that caps the game’s biggest celebration.” The resulting collection includes the likes of the Air Force 1, Dunk High CMFT, Air Foamposite One, and LunarWavy Sky Hi and sees a combination of black, white, chrome and Hyper Jade hues throughout, as well as additional design cues like Vac-Tech construction, anodized finishes, NYC’s area codes, studded pull tabs, and the Nike NYC logo.
Look for the Air Force 1 Elite AS, Dunk High CMFT PRM AS, and LunarWavy Sky Hi AS to hit NSW retailers and Nike.com in limited quantities February 11 while the Foamposite One AS will follow on February 15.
