FASHION: CASIO G-SHOCK / CLOT x P.A.M. COLLAB / PUMA CLYDE

Casio’s slick matte “Basic Black” collection isn’t the only limited-edition G-SHOCK drop it has on tap for the month of July. 2016 marks the 25th anniversary of the International Cetacean Education and Research Centre and, to celebrate, Casio has teamed up with the whale and dolphin research organization to drop a special timepiece. The GWF-D1000K-7JR Frogman dons co-branding cues throughout and couples an appropriate blue-hued strap with a white case, black accents and ISO standard waterproofing up to 200 meters.
Limited to just 1,500 units, the GWF-D1000K-7JR Frogman “Love the Sea and the Earth” watch will soon be available at select G-SHOCK dealers.

CLOT and P.A.M., previously known as Perks and Mini, link up in collaboration to launch a brand new capsule collection called “C.L.A.M. Kids On Drugs.” The range consists of graphic crewneck shirts, both in short sleeve and log sleeve iterations, a varsity-style baseball jacket, a cap, not to mention P.A.M.’s signature drop crotch shorts and trousers. Donning a custom made logo featuring an animated clam character scourged with blood-shot eyes, many pieces in the range showcase this pint-sized mascot-type figure. Around for the better part of 40 years now, the PUMA Clyde is set to hit the streets once again in the “Home and Away” Pack. Gaining all kinds of traction fueled by its endorsement by basketball legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier, the apparel giant plays into the whole home ‘whites’ and away ‘colors’ motif as used in the wide world of sports. The “Home” pair comes dressed in white leather with hits of black suede running along the side panel, not to mention the subtle gold found on the side branding. The “Away” pack features a heavy suede construction with navy set as the base and grey running along the side panels. As with the “Home” silhouette, gold-tinged branding can also be found on the “Away” models. With only 759 pairs available, a salute to the number of games Frazier played with the New York Knicks, each comes individually numbered as found on the heel. The new PUMA Clyde is available now at such retailers as Packer Shoes.
