Nike Offers Special Packaging for Foamposites at Golden Air
Nike presents the SNKRS Box for Golden Air, celebrating the USA Basketball sendoff and iconic moments on the court. Inspired by the Foamposite’s futuristic design, the physical location provides a closer look at the history and technological innovation behind the sneaker. Additionally, special edition packaging will be available when purchasing the Air Foamposite One “Liquid Sole” and “Hyper Cobalt.” The suitcase-like design features a hard case shell with a carrying handle and hues complementing the respective sneaker’s colorways. A mobile truck will also be roaming the streets of SF offering various Foamposites and tickets to the experience.
Trapstar Outfits the PUMA Disc Blaze in Fiery Camouflage
As part of its upcoming collaboration pack with PUMA, London’s Trapstar has daubed the retro Disc Blaze silhouette in an all-over red-and-grey camo pattern. This follows on from the previous “Static” Disc Blaze that this collaboration spawned in December. An affront to the senses, the Trinomic-soled runner will be available online now at Sneaker Politics for $165 USD.
All Tan Leather For The Latest New Balance 1500
While New Balance already recently released two classic colorways of its 1500 silhouette, the footwear staple continues further with this latest reiteration in all tan leather. Beautifully brown, the 1500 receives a mix of buttery tan leather and nubuck for it upper, with white accents dotted throughout via the brand’s various logos on the panel, tongue and heel counter. The shoe rests on a predominantly white ENCAP midsole, which in turn sits on a grey outersole. The New Balance 1500 Tan Leather is currently out in Europe at select New Balance retailers, but or you stateside folk, keep a look out for your release to come soon.
Nike's Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit Gets Revamped in Wolf Grey
Nike’s latest release which combines the intricacies of its Flyknit technology with the shape of the classic Air Max 1 silhouette evolves in a clean, wolf grey colorway. Following a bright crimson version, the newest Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit, sees a more subtle and monochromatic hue throughout. The brand’s woven upper gives flexibility and breathability while the structured mudguard provides form and additional support. The shoe is rounded out by an innovative outsole for an overall lightweight feel paired with comfort. Be on the lookout for these pairs via the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers starting July 28.
The Creamy ASICS Gel-Kayano "Moon Crater"
ASICS has brought forth its Gel-Kayano silhouette for a crispy makeover dubbed “Moon Crater.” Taking obvious inspiration from our lunar planet, the Gel-Kayano takes on a clean, cream white color palette, starting off with a yellowish tint on the shoe’s supportive cage overlay, designed with ASICS stripes in mind. Off-white suede is then used throughout the upper’s panels, with perforation to keep things cool. Leather continues into the inner lining, which gets a minty teal hit. Overall, the ASICS Gel-Kayana “Moon Crater” is a clean and subtle choice for the summer, and retails for €130 EUR (approximately $143 USD) at online stores like SUPPA.
