Lazy Oaf Embraces Leisure & Inactivity for 2016 Fall
Lazy Oaf Embraces Leisure & Inactivity for 2016 Fall
Lazy Oaf has low expectations for the upcoming fall season, and you should, too.
Embracing a theme of inactivity and apathetic identity, the London label presents relaxed silhouettes for Fall 2016 that range from bright sweatshirts and “All Teams” rugby jerseys to graphic T-shirts and six-panel caps. Alongside the “Primary Panel Puffer” jacket, standout pieces from this drop include the “Face It” and “Face Off” hooded sweats that come detailed with a “Sorry I’m Late” slogan as well as 3D-embroidered illustrations on the back. If you keep others’ expectations of you low, life will always be okay, right?
Check out the latest offering in the Connor Williams-modeled lookbook above, and catch the collection’s first drop online and in-stores at Lazy Oaf locations, out now. Remaining styles will be released sometime early August.
John Mayer on His IWC Big Pilot Collection, the New Big Pilot, and His Infamous Letter
John Mayer on His IWC Big Pilot Collection, the New Big Pilot, and His Infamous Letter
John Mayer has had a long and storied relationship with IWC, and especially its Big Pilot watch. It was one of his first high-end luxury watches, and he wore it so often his tour managers nicknamed him “Big Pilot.” Mayer considers the IWC Big Pilot as his gateway watch into the collecting world, and now he’s known as a true watch aficionado. A few years back, Mayer published an amicable yet critical letter in HODINKEE to IWC which was met with fervor on both sides. Well, John now looks back at the letter in this new video from HODINKEE, and talks about how his personal relationship with the watch brand has grown since then. He also shows off his extensive collection, further cementing his unofficial ambassador status.
