In 2014, renowned architectural firm SAOTA created a sleek design for a beach house to be built on a sloping plot of land located in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. The newly constructed home, which takes up a sizable 13,000 square feet, is perfect for folks who want to enamor themselves in some enviable sights of the Indian Ocean as well as a sweeping view of the Outeniqua Mountains. This modern domicile is both cozy and intimate, boasting a simple box-like silhouette, stone walls, sliding shutters made of timber, spacious living spaces that are column-free as well as a large sculptural fireplace. Moreover, the structure also contains a game room, a huge guest suite and an audio-visual room. Of course, a beach house isn’t a beach house without a built-in pool. Not only does this South Africa beauty contain one, but also two tanning decks cordoned off with glass panels and a fire pit.
