To kick off the new year, the Swoosh’s NikeLab imprint recently unveiled the Air Zoom Sertig — a modern rendition of the old ACG Zoom Terra Sertig. Now, after introducing white and gold colorways, Nike has dropped yet another colorway of the ACG-inspired silhouette. Here the kicks adopt a Black/Cool Grey combo, coupling a grey neoprene bootie and matching mesh with black overlays and accents throughout. Further complementing the greyscale look is a stark white Zoom-cushioned midsole while a rugged black rubber outsole provides traction for the elements mother nature is sure to throw at wearers in the months ahead.
This latest edition ofNike’s Cortez “Stop Sign” appears to pay homage to a highly coveted edition of the Nike Air Max 1. Sporting Varsity Red and Chlorine Blue coloring throughout, it may remind you of the Parra-customized Patta x AM1 “Cherrywood.” Varsity Red dominates its upper while its Swoosh logos and midsole stripe sport the aforementioned Chlorine Blue. This edition of the Nike Cortez “Stop Sign” hosts the silhouette’s traditional midsole pattern while adding details to carry out its theme with a stop sign graphic on each heel and the phrase “The Tradition Never Stops” on each respective inner tongue.
The Parra x Patta x Nike Air Max 1-inspired Cortez “Stop Sign” is currently available at select Nike Sportswear retailers like SNKRS for approximately $90 USD
Like the aforementioned white and gold colorways, the Black/Cool Grey version of the Air Zoom Sertig is available now via KITH for $170 USD
