DOPE ADIDAS:

adidas Consortium and Norse Projects have teamed up to create a new dual-branded “Layers” collection — a capsule range consisting of two shoes in total — the Campus 80s PK and the Terrex Agravic. The latter is rarely featured on these pages, with its last appearance being a small mention in a Y-3 Sport interview back in 2016. The Terrex Agravic is a shoe designed for the outdoors, however, making it particularly apt for this collection — a collaboration inspired by the coastal cliffs of the Danish Islands, specifically Fur and Møn. The Campus 80s PK uses a prime knit upper alongside a flexible neoprene tongue and standard campus outsole, while the Terrex Agravic features a nylon ripstop upper with waterproof GORE-TEX lining and an outsole using rubber from German tyre company Continental with both shoes also feature distinct co-branding throughout.
The adidas Consortium x Norse Projects “Layers” collection will be available on August 9 at Norse Projects stores and the brand’s web store, with a more general release happing a week later on August 18 at all global Consortium accounts.

In the last 20 years, New York’s Alife and Paris’ Starcow have grown central to their respective city’s

footwear scene. With adidas Consortium, they’ve paired together to present a suede Gazelle and leather

Stan Smith for 2017′s Sneaker Exchange series. Both styles are stripped to the basics: the Gazelle is

delivered in shades of grey, while the Stan Smith is presented in white and off-white. Additionally,

each model sports red, white and blue for the US’ “Stars and Stripes” as well as France’s “Tricolore”

on the heels, as homages to each brand’s cultures. White leather appears on the upper of the Stan Smith,

embossed with both partner’s logos. The same leather is used for the lining on the Gazelle. Conversely,

the sand-colored lining of the Stan Smith is the Gazelle’s upper

The adidas Consortium UltraBOOST Mid silhouette has generated interesting conversations since

its collaborative drop alongside KITH and “Family and Friends” edition with Ronnie Fieg. While

those drops are things of the past, we can now look forward to the launch of the model’s “Run Thru

Time” iteration after its initial tease earlier this month.
Its aesthetic stays true to the adidas UltraBOOST design with a raised height on its upper and

traditional white BOOST midsole and black outsole. Its Primeknit upper is covered in strong

blue coloring while its heel counter provides a contrast in matte grey. You’ll also find suede

material around its toebox for its finishing touches.

In 2014, the first Highs and Lows collaboration resulted in an EQT Guidance 93; late 2016 saw an

EQT Support 93 inspired by Mad Max cars and the Australian outback. This month, adidas Consortium

and Australia retailer Highs and Lows look to complete the EQT trilogy with a rendition of the EQT

Support ADV.
The EQT Support ADV features a sand-colored patterned Primeknit upper with suede overlays, with the

same color following through on the leather mudguard and heel cafe with rose gold Highs and Lows

branding. Olive lacing straps contrast the colorway, as do the eyelets. Co-branded leather insoles,

lace-loops, and lace-tips with speed lacing lace locks finished the collaborative kicks.
