Virgil Abloh’s foray into the fine art world began this past February with his collaborative exhibition with Takashi Murakami entitled “Future History” at Gagosian London. Ahead of the show’s launch, the multifaceted designer teased a series of products on social media relaying the duo’s partnered apparel offerings alongside an exclusive print sized at 15 x 18 inches.
Dubbed Glance Past The Future, the collaborative print rolled out as a signed, numbered, and dated edition of only 300 units. Only a select few platforms such as Kumi Contemporary had their hands on the print that was priced at $1,975 USD. As part of this year’s Advent Calendar 2018 installment through our art-dedicated Instagram handle, @hypebeastart, we’re giving one lucky winner the chance to own what is considered the first collaborative artwork by Takashi Murakami and Virgil Abloh.
To kick off this year’s Advent Calendar, we linked up with Berlin’s own VooStore to give away the European-exclusive Off-White™ x Nike Air Jordan 1 in white.
Since its inaugural debut in 2017, the ever-growing collaboration between the Virgil Abloh-headed fashion house and Nike has produced some of the most highly-coveted releases in quite some time. Within its special packaging you’ll find extra sets of laces and the signature Off-White™ zip-tie in Baby Blue.
