Continuing to push the boundaries for motorcycles, Curtiss Motorcycles releases details to its newest creation — the Hera motorcycle.
Much like their six-figure WARHAWK motorcycle, the Hera lends itself to a futuristic design with elements not often seen on a bike. While the Hera looks like it belongs in the movie Tron, it is actually based on American aviation and motorcycling pioneer Glenn Curtiss’ record-setting V8-powered motorcycle from 1907. The bike features 8 battery packs, configured in a V8 formation, powering an electronic twin motor under the seat. While not much info has been given just yet, we do know that the expected range will be around 280 miles and that it will be able to accelerate from 0-to-60 at an astonishing time of 2.1 seconds.
Check back for more info as this bike is set for a 2020 launch.
