Nike recently dropped the spacey Air VaporMax sneaker in frosty “Teal Tint” but if your searching for the perfect trainers to stun at holiday parties, look no further than this metallic gold update.
The silhouette features a unique double-layer finish, with a beige underlay that’s topped with a translucent fabric, adding to the futuristic feel of these shoes. Metallic gold ribbon-like details shine on the lateral side, sitting underneath a silver Swoosh whilst complementary golden laces tie the look together. To complete, the lightweight trainer sits atop Nike’s innovative Air VaporMax midsole with its completely visible Air bubble sole unit in gold.
You can cop this winning Nike Air VaporMax at retailers like Foot Locker for £165 GBP (approx. $208 USD).
Just recently, Nike has released its classic Air Force 1 in a myriad of finishes, from tropical florals to fuzzy shearling. The newest addition to the roster however is bold and sweet in “True Berry.”
The upper is formed of soft suede in a deep purple tone, with complementary laces, a branded deubré and a Swoosh that blends subtly onto the sidewalls. To contrast, there are additional branded details in tan leather on the heel and tongue and the perforations scattered across the midfoot add to the athletic feel. Completing the look is a white midsole and a “Barely Rose” pink outsole.
These vibrant trainers will add some color to your look this winter – score a pair over at Foot Locker for £80 GBP (approx. $100 USD).
Nike’s Epic React and Element React silhouettes have been a key sneaker this year, not least because of collabs with the likes of UNDERCOVER. Now, another iteration of the trainer is making its way into our dream rotation; the Rise React Flyknit.
The sleek trainer takes on a high-cut finish, resulting in a sock-like structure. The premium Flyknit finish in “Rust Pink” ensures you’ll be comfortable all day long and the tonal details throughout give the shoe an overall minimal, yet stylish, feel. The perforated upper is breathable and the embroidered Swoosh logos on the side add to the fashion-forward appeal. Completing the look is the reinforced panel on the heel for additional support and a cushioned React midsole. If you prefer more minimal colors, the same sneaker also comes in casual “Thunder Grey.”
With winter comes the never-ending conundrum; do you trade in your beloved sneakers for some weather-appropriate boots? Thanks to FILA, you don’t have to choose between one or the other as the South Korean sportswear brand has transformed its Disruptor 2 trainer into a high-top boot.
Arriving in two classic colorways, “Beige” and “Triple Black,” the silhouette retains some of the signature elements of the shoe like the tonal panelled detailing on the sidewalls and subtle embroidered logos. Of course, there’s the serrated, chunky midsole that’s become so synonymous with this style but the seasonal element comes in the form of the leather upper that extends around the ankle and calf as a boot. For additional coziness, the inner is lined in fuzzy shearling and can be folded down, with a colorful FILA emblem on display for an alternative styling option.
Peep both pairs above; you can cop the FILA Distruptor 2 boots over at the FILA Korea web store for $89 USD.
Nike has debuted the Air Max 98 in a stunning pink and “Pumice” shade. Rounding out its 20th anniversary, we see a variety of subtle mauve and rosy tones on the low-top silhouette creating one of our favorite colorways yet.
The top-most part of the upper is a rich pink shade covering the laces and tongue. A more neutral “Pumice” shade sweeps across the lateral where we also see a tonal check engraved into the side. A cloudy white Air Max Unit completes the design.
Pastel lovers won’t be able to cop this pair until January 2019. While you wait, peep other upcoming Swoosh options like the Off-White™ x Nike’s Air Force 1 in “Black” & “Volt”.
