With 2019 just around the corner, Nike is set to continue adding to its established Air VaporMax lineup.
Releasing alongside the Air VaporMax 2019 is the Air VaporMax Flyknit 3.0. Serving as the second follow up to the AM model that started it all, this iteration features an updated ribbed Flyknit pattern reinforced by a reworked heat welded patch that marks the hidden heel counters. Branding on the shoe comes in the form of midfoot Swooshes and technical notation tongue tags. Maintaining a familiar look, the upcoming sneaker will once again feature the full-length VaporMax midsole, accompanied by rubber outsole caps.
After Nike‘s Air Max 98 for Chinese New Year, a first look at the brand’s Chinese New Year-themed Air VaporMax Flyknit 2 has now been released. The sneaker features a red upper, complete with matching laces and a semi-translucent red sole unit.
The stand-out detail of the sneaker is a blue, white, black floral-style print on a red background which adorns the heel counter and footbed. Lastly, the celebratory sneaker is finished with a black heel tab and white mini Swoosh. There is currently no official release date for the colorway, but expect the Air VaporMax Flyknit 2.0 to drop sometime in February.
After the sneaker was officially revealed earlier this month, the black colorway of Fear of God and Nike‘s collaborative release now gets an on-foot look. The basketball-style sneaker comes with a high-top construction complete with ballistic nylon and suede panels.
Other details of the Nike Fear of God 1 include a unique rope lacing system, a tonal cage overlay and zip closure. This upper sits atop a thick sole unit with a rectangular air unit window. Take an on-foot look at the collaborative Nike Air Fear of God 1 in the gallery above, and expect it to release via HBX on December 15.
It’s been a while since we last saw Nike‘s Air Trainer 3, so it’s nice to see Bo Jackman‘s retro silhouette return in its iconic “Medicine Ball” colorway.
Official images of the new Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball” have surfaced online, signaling an incoming rerelease of the OG model. The popular colorway maintains its signature “Ginger” brown and perforated white leather upper, complete with “Light Bone” cage overlays and “Midnight Navy” Swoosh and Nike branding.
Stay tuned for more details regarding a 2019 Nike Air Trainer 3 “Medicine Ball” release, which should arrive in the near future at Nike’s web store.
adidas Skateboarding and Na-Kel Smith are set to drop a collaborative 3ST.003. Done in a colorway that is truly reminiscent to adidas‘ classic Stan Smith model, the skate shoe features premium white leather uppers that are punctuated by rich green hues in the outsole’s rubber buffer, and in the Trefoil logos on the tongue and heel.
The sneaker’s comfort is also maximized via synthetic construction at the rear, and with its sock-like liner — giving the shoe a snuck fit while being flexible. Other details include a Geoflex outsole, gold-foil branding, and also Na-Kel’s name printed on the heel tab; printed in the color of yellow to match the sneaker’s lining.
Look for these to drop over at the adidas web store this coming December 20 for a price of $95 USD.
Shortly after being spotted on Virgil Abloh in photo with Juergen Teller, we are now learning of a potential release of the blue take on the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1.
Rumors are now noting that the colorful take will be releasing at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. If the rumors are true, the Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” will follow the same release strategy we saw with the MoMa exclusive earlier this year.
The Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” features blue leather uppers that are decorated with large metallic silver Swooshes and exposed stitching. Additional detailing includes industrial midfoot prints, stitched orange tabs, and red zip ties. Finishing up the design are Nike Sportswear tags on the tongue and the word “AIR” emblazoned on the sole units.
