After the collaborative alpine boot first surfaced back in October, TAKAHIROMIYASHITA TheSoloist. and Salomon‘s S LAB XA Alpine now gets a closer look and wider release. The boot was developed by Saloman’s high-performance S-Lab division, with a number of technical elements aimed at delivering functionality and durability.
The trail-boot features a full waterproof upper, which sits atop a compressed and molded EVA midsole. Other features include Salomon’s signature Contagrip technology on the soles, as well as a flexible carbon chassis for support. The collaborative boot is then finished with a zip fastening and subtle black “I Am The Soloist.” branding on the upper. The alpine boot’s are available now from the Haven web store, priced at $874 USD.
The movies head to the secondary sneaker marketplace StockX with the release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Origin Story.”
Paying homage to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the model bears a similar essence to the pair worn by Miles Morales in the featurette. Jordan Brand imbues the aesthetics of Marvel’s titular web-slinging comic book hero into a reworked iteration of the AJI OG “Chicago.” Though the kicks reference the aforementioned colorway, the added inclusion of a speckled, translucent outsole and reflective 3M dots, swathing the upper, add a bit of stylistic variance. A specially designed package completes the offering.
Head over to StockX to buy the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Origin Story” now.
Earlier in the month, we shared a first look at the Nike Air Max 97 LX “Metallic Gold” dipped in Swarovski® crystals. Today, the Swoosh announces that the jeweled pair will arrive later this month.
As an upscale take on the original “Metallic Gold” iteration, the upper welcomes the jewelry company’s crystal fabric which refracts light with shimmering effects. Red mini Swoosh accents return to each lateral and medial sides in addition to the tongue, while the midsole adds a bit of contrast in a crisp white.
The Swarovski® x Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold” LX arrives on December 26 at select Nike Sportswear retailers in addition to Nike SNKRS.
As we near a new year of sneaker releases, we now have a first look at the upcoming Nike Epic React Flyknit 2.
Serving as the sequel to the popular Epic React Flyknit runner we saw earlier this year, Nike has reworked the silhouette for improved performance and style. Defining changes come in the form of a new support and flexibility focused Flyknit weave pattern, lower heel cage and larger Swoosh branding. Moving to the lower half, other than an added blush detailing, the React foam midsole remains mostly the same.
No official pricing details have surfaced just yet, but the Epic React Flyknit 2 is set to release in its inaugural “Pixel” colorway January 31, 2019 at nike.com and select Nike Sportswear retailers.
Continuing its deconstructed “Inside Out” series, Vans released a new white iteration of its reworked Sk8-Hi Reissue Cap footwear option.
Similar to the initial release we saw earlier this year, key parts of the classic have been misplaced to highlight the recognizable nature of the model. The upper of the shoe is defined by a mixed material construction, which features a medial checkerboard pattern and a slanted zip closure. Rounding up the design is a lowered heel panel and a broken up midsole unit.
Priced at $95 USD, the Sk8-Hi Reissue Cap “Inside Out White” is available now at vans.com and select Vans retailers.
