In celebration of adidas Originals x Alexander Wang‘s Season 5 Drop 2 of their collaboration, the two brands have unveiled their latest campaign. The partnership fuses fashion and function alongside a touch of ’80s-era athleticism. Dubbed “club leisure,” the collection features pieces ideal for clubbing, hitting the gym and anything else you’re in the mood for.
For the campaign, the brands go inside a dance studio with world-renowned choreographer Tanisha Scott. Shot by Johnny Dufort and styled by Haley Wollens, dancers Noemi Janumala, Dakota Moore, Avi McClish and Olivia Burgess give the capsule their own stylish twist.
Wang’s ability to create cult-worthy classics appear in the campaign as logo-heavy nylon separates, the AW Crew, a retro crew neck and AW Joggers, a classic, mesh-lined retro track pant. Additional staples in the collection include the AW Shorts, created in a silhouette reminiscent of the ’80s and the cozy Towel Hoodie. A sneaker design launching alongside the apparel is the AW Futureshell. The silhouette merges ’00s-era basketball materials with ’90s-style tooling. Lastly, the AW Adilette Lycra trainer arrives with herringbone foxing and a thick Lycra bandage.
The Alexander Wang x adidas Originals Season 5 Drop 2 will be available on May 25 at select retailers and both label’s flagship locations. The capsule will also drop at adidas.com and alexanderwang.com. Take a look at the campaign in the gallery above.
