Showcased against an array of Staples Edition gear, Louis Vuitton highlights its forthcoming range of menswear accessories, decked out in the house’s signature Epi leather. Offered in “Initials” and “Patchwork Graphite” iterations, the lavish goods all offer distinctive forms of branding.
Accompanying the sleek navy Epi leather items seen in the debut lookbook, this accessories selection takes things in a more graphic direction. Louis Vuitton’s signature textile, first launched in 1985, receives a facelift with hits of acid green, blue and burgundy courtesy of circular LV logos borrowed from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection.
The Danube, Bumbag and Keepall are all on hand, with each bag retaining distinct color usage and appropriately luxe hardware. Inside, the smaller leather items offer colorful lining, complemented by a set of Damier Graphite canvas pouches that sit inside each other like Russian nesting dolls. Louis Vuitton’s understated Patchwork Graphite graces some of the smaller items, replacing the circular logos, while it appears on the Christopher backpack as one of several distinctive panels, granting the piece statement status.
Shop the collection on Louis Vuitton’s site and stores when the accessories range launches May 31.

As part of Louis Vuitton‘s earlier-teased assortment of home goods, the Ping Pong Set James caught the attention of many as an unorthodox release from the French maison. While releasing luxurious home accessories is nothing new to LV, the choice of reinterpreting something as common as a table tennis paddle/racket, in such an elevated manner, meshes well with the current accessories coming out from Supreme.
Priced at $2,210 USD (before taxes), the ping pong set includes four regulation balls with a custom leather holder, a premium Monogram Eclipse canvas paddle sleeve, and the paddle; sculpted in wood with a metal LV insert at the base of the handle and “Louis Vuitton” edge tape. Those interested can find the set over at the Louis Vuitton online store.

First seen on the runway during the 2020 Cruise womenswear collection, Louis Vuitton hit the Viva Technology 2019 conference to show off some of its cutting edge OLED bags and AR technology. Other key pieces included Virgil Abloh’s fiber optic FW19 footwear.
Designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, LVMH reps showed off bags infused with the “Canvas of the Future,” a new textile that allows for flexible displays of high-resolution imagery, though no word on how owners may program the bags to play footage outside of the Louis Vuitton runway shots. Elsewhere, light-sensitive bags and footwear shifted color as cameras passed over them, showing off dynamic video screens embedded in the sneakers’ tongues. Finally, a collaborative Snapchat filter allows users to create three-dimensional augmented reality images of handbags using special cards
