Nike presents its latest cold-weather footwear option for the Fall/Winter 2019 season. Dubbed the Xarr boot, the silhouette borrows some familiar cues from Nike’s celebrated sneaker repertoire; as seen in the Air Force 1-esque toe construction.
The boot also sees a clear separation from the middle as the front is made from smooth tonal leather while the rear sees nappy suede in matching hues. Ballistic nylon makes up the tongue of the boot, and is accented by metal hardware via a unique double eyelet lacing system. The chunky outsole receives asymmetrical moulding that is furthered by deep tread patterns and a debossed Swoosh logo at the heel.
Those interested can find the new Nike Xarr boots over at nike.com for a price of $150 USD.
Keeping the YEEZY teasers coming, Kourtney Kardashian recently showed off her pair of adidas YEEZY 500 High “Slate” releasing later this year.
Offering a better look at the high-cut shoe features an updated construction that replaces the usual technical mesh textile with tonal blue neoprene paired with matching premium suede overlays. Devoid of branding, the upper of the shoe is accented by thick rope laces that obscure the panelling of the neoprene tongue. Finally, elevating the upcoming shoe is a contrasting full-length adiPRENE midsole paired with a rubber outsole.
The adidas YEEZY 500 High “Slate” is rumored to be priced at $200 USD and releasing at yeezysupply.com, adidas and select retailers sometime in December.
Having recently utilized CORDURA material on a slew of models, New Balance applies the cut and abrasion resistant SuperFabric material to two classic Made In USA silhouettes, the 997 and 998.
Firstly, the 997, code name M997NAL, is built with pigskin suede and leather overlaps atop SuperFabric nylon underlays at the midfoot, tongue and collar, both in a tonal olive hue. Next, the 998 or M998BLC, features the same pigskin and SuperFabric construction, however with a tonal tan colorway. Each iteration also includes embroidered tongue branding, ENCAP and ABZORB sole units respectively, and rubber outsoles.
Both SuperFabric New Balances are available at select retailers, including Packer Shoes, for $210 USD and $180 USD respectively.
The Nike Air Ghost Racer has seen relative strides of revival throughout 2019, reinterpreting the ‘90s-era runner via eclectic new colorways such as the “Pink Blast” and “Racer Blue” versions. Now Nike has released another new iteration of the famed silhouette, honing in on the New York City Marathon for inspiration.
As one of the epicenters for running and home to the world-renowned event, the new Big Apple-inspired colorway has been doused in a base of Bright Crimson, with paneled interplay between Black, Orange Pulse, and Sail to flesh out the fruitful iteration. Most notably, the insole hones in on the sneaker’s theme by emblazoning an apple core logo with NYC’s skyline running through, finished off with the city’s “NYC” acronym printed above.
