Arsenal Football Club is welcoming 424 as its Official Formal Wear Partner. The Los-Angeles based brand will design suits for the players and senior staff of Arsenal F.C. and — for the first time in the club’s history – formal wear for the Women’s Super League champions, Arsenal Women.
A key component of this two-year long partnership is co-founder of 424 Guillermo Andrade’s friendship with Héctor Bellerín. Bringing contemporary streetwear to the world of professional sports, 424 will channel its creative designs and Los Angeles spirit into its projects with the club. Some of the looks that were teased include suits emblazoned with the club’s badge, “424” branded ties and long, oversized coats.
Peter Silverstone, Commercial Director of Arsenal, speaks on the collaboration:
“We are excited to welcome 424 as the Official Formal Wear Partner of Arsenal men’s team and, for the very first time, Arsenal Women. Their creative and innovative values match those of Arsenal Football Club and we look forward to collaborating with 424 to create exciting content and events to showcase their latest designs, whilst helping them reach a new audience and grow their brand internationally.”
Elsewhere, the creatives at Art of Football released a collection of repurposed bucket hats.
