Louis Vuitton under Virgil Abloh‘s direction has unveiled a lightly reworked version of its LV 408 low-top sneaker in monogrammed blue denim.
The sneaker, which is set to release in March for Spring/Summer 2020, features a mixture of monogrammed denim, moniker-adorned plastic, and white detailing. The denim comes in two light-blue shades to showcase the LV 408’s segmented and overlayed upper design, and sports a blue suede trim around the toe box.
The eyestay and mid-panel support comes in a rich blue hue and is adorned with the house’s name, and an oversized LV logo has been placed on the top of the tongue, also made from a rubberized plastic material. Towards the back, we find tonal LV-branded plugs on the white sole unit, a large LV-branded heel cup and a rubberized heel clip.

Once again marking its spot at the forefront of timepiece innovation, Hublot recently crafted a new iteration of its Big Bang MP-11 made of SAXEM (Sapphire Aluminium oXide and rare Earth Mineral) a material never before used in watchmaking.
In order to create the emerald-like material, Hublot mixed aluminum oxide (the basic component of sapphire) with rare-earth elements like thulium, holmium and chromium. SAXEM is a unique material features an absence of tension and is harder than emerald making it superior for shaping into a watch case.
Limited to 20 units and water-resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, the Hublot Big Bang MP-11 SAXEM (ref. 911.JG.0129.RX) features a 45mm contrasted by six H-shaped polished and microblasted black titanium screws on the bezel and black titanium crown with rubber inserts. Housed inside the case is a hand-wound skeleton HUB9011 calibre movement with a seven-barrel power reserve of two weeks paired with an “endless screw”-type helical gear wheel to transmit energy between the horizontal axis of the barrels and the vertical train moving the hours and minutes display. Comprised of 270 components, the watch is completed by green luminescent plated hands and indexes, anti-reflective sapphire glass and black structured rubber strap with a black ceramic and black-plated titanium deployant clasp.

There’s no better way to celebrate the most festive time of the year than with an “ugly” Christmas sweater, and gaming fans will be happy to know that you can now add your favorite Nintendo characters to your wardrobe for the holiday season.
Available exclusively at UK retailer Geek Store, Nintendo has released an official Christmas sweater range consisting of three different options. A red version comes emblazoned with Pokémon fan-favorite Pikachu giving an adorable wink whilst wearing a Santa hat, accompanied with the classic trio Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur, all dressed in winter gear. The blue sweater features the Japanese gaming company’s most iconic characters — Mario and Luigi — as well as a little feisty Bowser surrounded by snowflakes and Christmas ornaments. Finally, Princess Peach makes an appearance on the light pink colorway sharing similar patterning with the Mario sweater along with “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” written underneath her portrait.

After just releasing its “YOSEMITE” sweaters, THE NORTH FACE PURPLE LABEL is back once again, this time showcasing three outdoor accessories that come with lush camo fur – the Frontier Cap, Field Shoulder Bag and Field Pouch.
The first piece comes with either a black or olive grosgrain base, complemented by the label’s original tigerstripe camo pattern on its fur-lined ear flaps. At the top of the hat, a thin tonal buckle strap is subtly branded with “THE NORTH FACE” and connects the two flaps. Further branding is stamped at the front panel, while adjustable drawstrings are placed at the back.
Next up is the Field Shoulder Bag, coming with storage that’s large enough to fit a standard A4 file or a magazine. The bag’s shoulder straps have been widened for added comfort, contrasted with thinner ripstop at the right end for a sleek finish. The Field Pouch is a smaller counterpart, with a thin strap, tonal zippers and a rectangular build. Both bags come with purple “The North Face” patch logo sewn at the center.
