adidas by Rick Owens 2015 Spring/Summer Leather Springblade/ Nike's Air Huarache Run Set to Hit NIKEiD/ Nike LeBron 12 NSW Lifestyle "Black"
The creation of adidas by Rick Owens set off on providing a unique aesthetic and approach to design within performance footwear. In a continuation of the diffusion label, this season adidas by Rick Owens introduces a Springblade variation that highlights one of adidas’s most interesting performance innovation in recent times. Springblade’s mechanical cushioning is meant to both cushion impact and propel runners forward. Despite the inherently tech-driven visual design of the tooling, it pairs remarkably well with Rick Owens’ own particular design language in three relatively muted color palettes. The collection of three shoes is available now at select retailers including LN-CC.
Nike‘s increasingly popular Air Huarache Run is the latest model to hit NIKEiD. The comfy lifestyle favorite originally released in 1991 features a Nike Air unit in the heel for comfort as well as an external strap around the heel for support. Different uppers available for selection include synthetic leather, mesh or OG mesh while outsoles also come in the form of solid or translucent colors. A retro touch comes courtesy of Safari options. While the shoes aren’t officially available for order until January 20, you can start playing around with designs now over at NIKEiD.
Accompanying the Black History Month “BHM” iteration of the Nike LeBron 12, Nike will be releasing a Lifestyle “Black” version of the aforementioned shoe. The Lifestyle shoe features an all-black suede base as well as a black sole, however, the company’s logo is printed in an off-black shade for emphasis. The Nike LeBron signature can be seen at the tongue of the shoe along with the words “Lights Out” on the heel. The shoes are slated for release on January 24 and are available at Footpatrol.
