Nike SB Eric Koston Mid R/R White/Gym Red-Black-Gum Medium Brown / Nike Blazer Mid Metric QS / Nike Kobe Mentality "Clearwater"
Nike SB unveils a brand new colorway for the mid-cut version of Eric Koston‘s first signature shoe. Designed with rest and recovery in mind, the shoe features a white mesh upper and a Huarache-inspired midfoot strap, sitting atop of a white/gum outsole. Red detailing along the Swoosh, tongue and heel provides a nice contrast to the rest of the comfortable sneaker. Priced at 11,500 JPY (approximately $98 USD), the latest colorway of the Nike SB Eric Koston Mid R/R is now available for purchase at select retailers like Kinetics.
Earlier this month saw the unveiling of a new Quickstrike Nike Sportswear Blazer Mid under the guise of a blacked-out geometric design. As the shoe begins to hit retailers, we take a further look into a concept that was previously unanimously well-received as part of a similar execution on a Roshe. The blacked-out shoe features a repeating triangular motif with a tonal approach across all facets from upper to laces and perhaps more interestingly is without a signature Swoosh across the side. The Nike Blazer Mid Metric QS is available now at select Nike Sportswear dealers including Titolo.
Nike brings us another Kobe Bryant shoe release, the Nike Kobe Mentality. The inaugural debut of the low-cut basketball sneaker sports the Clearwater theme, one of four colorways to be released in this model. It features a vibrant blue mesh upper and light blue lacquer, and bright crimson accents such as the Nike Swoosh insignia and the Black Mamba’s logo, the Sheath, are seen splashed across the tongue. The Sheath is also quietly embossed on the mint green midsole. Together with Zoom cushioning and Hyperfuse technology, the sneaker sets the standard for comfortable high performance shoes with its breathability and comfortability. The Nike Kobe Mentality “Clearwater” was released January 15 and can be purchased at select Nike Basketball stores for $100 USD.
