Dr. Martens recently unveiled its party-ready collection of sequin-adorned footwear but if you’re in the market for something a little more classic – and a lot less sparkly – then the new Hardware collection might be just what you need.
Arriving for SS19, the Hardware collection comprises of three silhouette, all in a timeless black finish with visible stitching and the black and yellow branded heel tab. The Sinclair boot has a classic 8-eye style and a smooth leather upper and features a zipper across the tongue, allowing you to either lace-up the traditional way or forgo the laces entirely in favor of an easier way to slip the boots on and off. Completing the edgy look is an ultra-chunky Quad Retro sole.
Next up, there’s the Caspian boot, also with an 8-eye construction but with an elongated neck that winds its way up to calf-height. Design details on this statement silhouette include the double-buckle fastening at the top and a stacked midsole. For a low-top option, there’s the Caraya Pisa shoe in a matte leather finish with a textured tongue, topped off with wide ribbon laces and D-ring details.

SLAM JAM and Nike have teamed up to celebrate the brand’s Pitti Uomo 30th anniversary with a new colorway of the Blazer. The “Class 1977” Blazer holds a clean white upper with a minimal upper to match. On its lateral we see a brown leather Swoosh which is reversed on the medial side for an asymmetric flair. The “Class 1977” tag is embossed on the ankle cuff completing the custom pair.

Having already seen a blushing iteration in “Pale Pink,” we now see yet another women’s exclusive rework of the Nike React Element 55 silhouette. This time around, the sneaker is rendered in a palette of “Wolf Grey/Ghost Aqua” for a beautifully minimalistic rework of the popular model. Although all of the trainer’s beloved details remain the same, the neutral tones seem to strip back the aesthetic to the shoe’s bare essentials, making the latest Nike release a true must-have for any sneaker rotation.
