3.PARADIS has returned with a brand new lookbook for it’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection titled “CALAVIÑAS.”
The photoset provides a unique look at the collection, utilizing a variety of unique creative queues from live-pigeons to glittered-out face paint. The collection hopes to provide a feeling of nostalgia, or the joy of being sad. Artistic director of the brand, Emeric Tchatchoua, hopes to pay tribute to the past by showcasing a sort-of destruction of the present expressing his view of “time passing by and not coming back.”
The collection utilizes a variety of fabrics, finishes, and silhouettes, once again trying to emulate the duality between existence and inexistence. Although the seasonal line is filled with statement pieces, a few notable standouts include the patchwork-distressed knit sweaters, a jacket doused in an all-over currency print, painted pants toting an octopus graphic at the ankles, and the oversized fitting suits.
Take a peek at the lookbook above, and be on the lookout as the collection drops via 3.PARADIS’ web store and varying stockists later this year.
