During a recent showroom preview in New York City, we had the opportunity to take a special look at Louis Vuitton‘s Spring/Summer 2020 Pre-Collection. The range features transparent 504 sneakers in both high and low-top editions as well as transparent accessories in the form of a tote, keepall and mini trunk bag. In addition, bags, keychains, belts and sunglasses come in colorful shades bringing out the artistic side of the line.

Signature paintings of Raphael have been incorporated into a colorful coat, a vest, a bomber and a shirt. Intricate details of the art piece can be seen on the fabric’s texture giving the clothing item more depth. The brand’s signature monogram returns on some of the collection’s accessories and bags as well. Last but not least, in honor of the individuals who made this happen, Virgil Abloh created a grey paint-by-numbers-inspired sweatshirt depicting the silhouettes of the employees.

Frankie Collective’s new Nike bikini top made from vintage Nike tees doubles as both daily wear and swimwear. The design features the signature Swoosh logo, black fabric and pink or green lining.

The bikini design features a wider spacing in-between both coverings, really referencing that early ‘00s-aesthetic. The Swoosh also plays well into vintage trends, but also the current obsession with logos and monograms. Below the bikini design are two straps that hug your waist tightly. The overall design is simple and uncomplicated, just like the era it could have fit into.

We are getting serious Destiny’s Child, Eve and early Rihanna sentiments. Complete the look with some oversized joggers and some matching Nike sneakers.
